Varúa is a blend from selected parcels in which specific work is carried out before harvest to enhance the quality of the assemblage. 

 

Aging

24 months in first-use French and American oak barrels and bottle aged for 9 months.

Tasting Note

Deep ruby red with purple hues. It is an elegant and luscious blend with expressive aromas and flavors of plum, red cherries, and spices. Bold and rich with a great lingering. 

 

Pairing

Ideal with red meats, pasta dishes with seasoned sauces, and cured, hard and semi-hard cheeses.

Ready to drink but will develop favourably in bottle for up to 6 years.
