Finca La Anita wines that are the spirit and soul of our terroir. Extraordinary wines to drink and age.
This rosé is vinified from our own grapes in Agrelo, Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza. These old vineyards are located 900 meters above sea level and have a low yield (4 to 5 t/ha). Surface irrigation.
The climate was dry (rainfall 20-60% lower than usual), producing small berries and slightly lower yields. Temperatures were colder overall. The 2019 harvest was carried out approximately 1 to 3 weeks earlier than usual with the grapes in perfect condition and without botrytis or mildew. The climate is characterized by warm days and cool nights, with a thermal amplitude of 14 ° C and an annual rainfall of 200 mm.
Manual harvest in boxes of 15 Kg in mid-March. After a gentle press, the must remains in contact with the skins for a short period of time. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks for 10 days at controlled temperatures below 8 ° C.
Pale pink with onion skin tints. On the nose, notes of strawberry, raspberry and quince jelly. Soft and sweet in the mouth with a creamy, fresh sensation. A fresh wine with a hint of white pepper on the finish.
