Fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Post-fermentation maceration for 2 to 3 days. Malolactic fermentation.
60% of the wine is aged 12 months in first and second-use French and American oak barrels. Bottle aged between 6 to 12 months.
Deep crimson red, with violet highlights. Delicate aromas of blackberries, cherries, currants, violets, red and white pepper, intense flavors of red fruit with round, juicy, ripe tannins, and great persistence. Juicy and ripe tannins, and great persistence.
Ideal with baked or stewed beef, goat or lamb, chicken, spicy empanadas, legume stews, and semi-hard cheeses.
Ready to drink but will age nicely for up to 6 years.
